Overview

KLC’s network architects, engineers and administrators possess extensive experience with large-scale enterprise network architectures and diverse server / workstation operating system deployments. Our projects include the design of domain structures, network security models, enterprise storage solutions and the implementation of Microsoft Active Directory in a predominantly DoD-based environment. Our administrators develop standardized platforms and software (GOTS/ COTS) loads, integration plans, technical training courses and scheduling/coordinating deployment methodologies. KLC specializes in custom server builds and set up network environments for software development teams.

KLC maintained networks consisting of a mixture of Linux and Microsoft Windows based workstations, Microsoft Exchange mail servers, Microsoft Systems Management Servers, Linux Servers as well as Video Teleconferencing Centers. KLC employs multiple enterprise management technologies, unified messaging services, a Microsoft Windows suite of servers to include Exchange, SharePoint NAV and HyperV virtual servers to provide stability, load balance and fault tolerance while connecting locations globally.

Our contracts encompass total life cycle support for Network Security Operations, Software & Database Development, System Administration, Converged Voice/Data/Video Networking, Telephony and Telecommunications services from Concept Requirements Analysis through System Design, Engineering and Integration (E&I), Global Deployment, Operational Maintenance (O&M) and on- site Customized Training.
While the DoD is our legacy customer, KLC has provided similar services to multiple additional DoD and Federal government agencies.
KLC and their Partner Force 3, Inc. engineered the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment in use today at the DoD Clearance Adjudications Facility (DoDCAF). This thin-client desktop environment greatly reduced their desktop administrative overhead and enabled the CAF to roll out a center-wide teleworking program which has resulted in a significant increase in worker productivity and allows the center to stay open even when the Federal Government is shut down for inclement weather.
